IOS 17 is a GAME CHANGER....

At the WWDC event in June 2023, Apple told us about the new iOS 17 beta. The public beta will be available in July 2023, but the exact date isn't known yet. Here are some updates for iOS 17:

  • You can now customize your wallpaper for Light Mode or Dark Mode. You can also change the font size on the lock screen and even use Live Photos as your wallpaper.
  • The widgets on the home screen are now interactive. You can control things like lights or shutters by pressing buttons on the widget. You can also complete tasks from the reminder list right on the widget.
  • Multitasking has been improved. You can have multiple apps open at the same time and switch between them easily. It's useful for doing things like reading and taking notes or editing photos while checking social media.
  • There's a new feature called Standby. When you turn your phone sideways, it will show the time and let you shuffle through photos, widgets, and even play games. It also has a Night Mode to reduce eye strain at night.
  • You can now add stickers and emojis to your photos and videos. It's a fun way to customize your pictures and make them more animated.
  • AirDrop is a useful app that lets you share information between devices. You can choose specific phone numbers or email addresses to share data between iPhones and Apple Watches.

  • Siri has been improved too. Instead of saying "Hey Siri," you can just say "Siri" to activate it. You can ask follow-up questions without saying "Siri" each time.

  • There are reports that Apple might allow apps from third-party app stores in iOS 17. This is a response to a new law in the European Union that wants more competition in the app market.
